Marketing in South Africa holds a lot of challenges and hurdles. We are catching up fast with the rest of the world with WI FI and the installation countywide of Fibre Optics.
Telkom is our national communications company in South Africa and the advancements been made are astonding.
Payment Processing Companies that work with the South African currency are few and far between.
You get PayPal that works for the transfer of your commission but the old fashioned cheque is still the best way to go. If your affliate program owner can do a direct transfer into your bank account all the better.
Hosting and the purchasing of Domain names or website names as it is commonly know here, and it could be your worst nightmare if you choose the wrong service provider. I have found a really great company that hosts my South African Domains for me. Let them give you a quote. No Marketer with his salt will not keep his eyes and ears open to new, faster and less expensive Domain Names and Hosting
After 18 months of being off line there has been so much change that I feel as if I am at school again learning and catching up on all the new and excited technologies.
